SC-OVM-ICCPET-SA is an important Romanian R&D Institutes acting for more than 35 years in the field of thermo-power and environmental protection equipment, having more than 50 specialized employees.

Originated in the Romanian Academy Institute of Energetic established in 1949, whose tradition it has been keeping on, SC-OVM-ICCPET-SA, are Thermoenergetic Equipment R & D Institute has carried out in the course of its almost 50 year existence, fundamental and applicative research services and top level, above - grade technical solutions as well, meeting the requests for the time being or the long-term, look ahead programs of the Romanian industry. The paramount, consequential research fields, covering both fundamental and applicative works too, are integral parts in the present sphere of interest of the world over experts in energetic. .

The activities focus on the development, the implementation and dissemination at the country scale of technologies for new and clean energy generation and for utilization of the renewable energy sources, modernization and refurbishing of power plants, environmental techniques and equipment, innovative methods for energy conversion and saving, renewable energy, automatic control systems.

The main activities :

  • research, design and development of equipments and technologies that use renewable sources of energy
  • realization of projects for new power equipment, modernization and refurbishing of utility plants

  • research, design and development of atmospheric bubbling and circulating fluidized bed combustion of coal and industrial residues and wastes;
  • consulting and engineering for thermopower units and environmental protection installations;
  • implementation of studies for environmental protection equipment and technologies (dry and wet flue gas desulphurization);
  • environmental impact assessment studies and environment audits;
  • thermal and electrical audits
  • technologies, cleaning, protection and preservation of thermo-power equipment;
  • research for reducing (for example: air excess burning) and retaining after combustion of CO2 from the burning gasses
  • research for the establishment of capitalization technologies of different industrial and agricultural waste.
