TECSOL is an independent Limited Company that is divided into three interactive departments linked to renewable energy applications:
- Renewable energy research and development
- System design for technical equipment in buildings
- Computer science
Tecsol can offer expertise in the following areas :
- Design of installations using renewable energy sources.
- Installation design for technical equipment in building.
- Energy management and energy saving.
- Solar heating and cooling
- Tele-monitoring of energy systems with internet based data processing and display.
- Development of tools for design assistance (Minitel hosts, vocal hosts, expert systems).
- Technology transfer management.
Tecsol created the Guaranteed Solar Results (GSR) concept, applied to solar thermal systems in 1988, and is responsible for its dissemination since then.
Tecsol has designed and built numerous collective thermal solar projects and conducted market studies throughout Europe, Tunisia, Morocco, Bulgaria, Brazil.
Tecsol has a staff of 22, including 15 engineers. The head office is in Perpignan , with six regional offices in France and a branch-company in Barcelona.
